Quick light weight point and shoot, quality in the results.
I had a Panasonic before that had a turn to set up the other than Automatic modes. I like that better than the way Canon has done theirs. However the Panasonic was 2x the size. So that is the trade off between the two. As to the quality of pictures, that is very good and equal to the Panasonic. What bothers me the most is the display of the photos on the screen, when I review a shot, I almost want to take it again its that bad, but looking on my pc, its as expected. The Panasonic was much better on photo review quality. I know Canon can do a much better job, but failed on this model.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Serously deformed battery and a grey market camera.
The battery was defective in that it had a seriously deformed shape, and therefore could not be inserted into the camera. I had no reasonable way of testing the camera. The single star is to emphasize that there should be some quality control of what is sent out. The battery is NOT an accessory; it is an essential component of the camera. Latrer I learned that it was a grey market camera, with no warranty by Canon.
