It's a great pellet gun for beginners in my opinion. It is the first pellet gun I owned after only ever shooting BB guns. The metal slide doesn't move which is a bummer, but it is more than heavy enough and feels good. I love the magazine because it is metal, feels nice and is also easy to load the clip even though it's a little bulky to disassemble, load and reassemble. The pellet loader tool seems useless to me, the pellets would misfire at seemingly the same rate every once in a while whether I seated them down in with the tool or not. Overall that wouldn't happen a lot and I still had a relatively smooth and fun experience shooting the gun but if you're less careful and you're still learning gun safety I would recommend getting a less powerful BB gun first because this gun seems to jam more than the pellet gun I have now.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not What I expected
Has good weight, balance, etc Pressing te Magazine release should cause the magazine to pop out. Even if only 1/2" After pressing magazine release, you have to pull on the magazine to pull it out. Feels like a real 1911, but....
The 1911 is a good-looking, realistic (heavy because all-metal construction) and fairly accurate co2 pistol. However, the magazine containing a co2 cartridge and pellets is, in my opinion, a poor design in loading pellets: it's difficult to load, holds only 12 pellets, and can easily become frozen when a pellet slips out of its belt and lodges in the works. Altogether, the amount of time spent loading the pellets and clearing wayward pellets is just not worth it for 12 shots.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Clip for Pellets do not hold BBs correctly.
