Would recommend - aesthetically, ease of use and clean
If you're a big fan of soup, only looking for a couple of bowls per use, would like to make it, heat it and blend it, this is probably the machine for you. I bought it as my partner is often very busy and finds it hard to prepare weekly lunches. Half an hour at night or in the morning and the soup is ready. Seems sturdy enough, but you can't throw water about it too much and you definitely can't submerge it, but you can still clear it out (easily) and put it on the self clean mode. The brushed chrome effect would be quite easily damaged, although you would need to hit it with something. Very easy to use - big buttons, soft touch and flashing lights and a small beep at the end when your soup is ready. Also, it is aesthetically pleasing which is good because it will probably be on your worktop most of the time.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Definitely quieter than a Ninja. Small capacity Good for two to three people. Needs thorough clean between batches or it won’t run. This can be difficult because it means emptying the soup maker, cleaning and restarting. Great little soup maker.
So easy to use, just chop up your veg, add stock, press 2 buttons and go and relax for 30 minutes. I've made soup twice a week since I've had it and I get such a buzz out of trying new soups. My favourite is leek and potato, it was really delicious. The self cleaning feature is great too, fill it will water and press easy clean and it will do the hard work although you'll still have a bit of left over stains to remove. Well made and easy to operate.
It's noisy in operation (e.g. during the blending process - I wrap a towel around it) but it's easy to use. It's effectively a blender and kettle all in one. Capacity is about 2 adult size portions. The 'keep warm' feature is useful as you can switch it on and return anytime after 25 mins and before 60 mins. It's not to be immersed in water so the dishwasher is out. Easy to use and excellent results
I bought this soup maker as a gift for my partner, who does not have a lot of time to spare for making complex recipes. We tried it out together and I was pleasantly surprised to find that the soups it makes are as good as those I'm used to making from the same ingredients by traditional methods, but take up a fraction of the preparation time. Great design and build
From my wife's point of view, it makes great soup and keeps it warm. Very useful for a hot bowl of soup after setting it up and having it work its magic while we walk the dogs in the frost! From my point of view, makes great soup... and it's very well designed. The sloping display panel is idea for a five foot nothing tall wife; the build quality is excellent; and it takes up a relatively small space, compared to others that I researched before buying this one. And the self-clean is sufficiently thorough, although it's very easy to clean manually - just a quick internal rinse of the jug with hot water - keeping water away from the the electrics! - and maybe a light wipe with a cloth is all it requires.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I was a bit unsure this wouldn't be a good as it was described. The first batch of soup was really delicious. It was so quick. Although cutting up the vegetables took a bit of time it was so easy. Just throw everything in and the soup is ready in 23 minutes. The soup is fantastically hot. I can now adapt recipes and use all my left over veg. Easy to use, good product
With the machine you can make easy soups. You will get recipe book in a lot of different language inside. There is 5 programs. What I couldn't found easy on the internet is the blender and when it works. In the creamed soup mode in the last 4 minutes the blender started a few times to make the soup creamy. Soup with pieces the blender never starts. (you need to mix the ingredients before start the program). I haven't try the compote mode yet. After these programs automatically start the keep warm program what keeps warm for extra 40mins the soup. Important: if you open the lid (to look in or etc.)while the program is running, the program needs to be started again, you cannot continue. As I noticed the in the soup modes in the first 10mins the soupmaker works in a higher level and produce more steam. It does that what is designed for :DVerified purchase: YesCondition: New
