Numark PT-01 Scratch Cuts Into the Very Fabric of Exploitational Glour
Been using as part of my live set for years. It's great. Battery op too, so I can move around the stage with it balanced on the finger tips of one hand while scratching with the other. A turntable like this provides a more direct access to the interstitial grains that can be drawn out within a context of performance immediacy. The avatars of fear, anxiety, disillusion and despair swoop into those cracks in daily life and occupy those interstices and it takes a tool like the PT-01 to gouge them, dislodge and disperse them into motifs that can stiff the air in magically mercurial ways.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
