I definitely recommend buying this!
This was so much fun for me. I have been having a really bad time recently but this box of candies really helped cheer me up! I would recommend them if you need a pick-me-up in your life and you love Japan! There was a lovely assortment of different Japanese candies. My favourite so far is definitely the Umaibou corn sticks! I loved trying out all the unique flavours, too. There isn't anything quite like that in the UK. Also, I loved the packaging. Another reason I bought these was to help me learn a little more about the Japanese language and this makes it even more fun! And seeing the kinds of dagashi they have in Japan is very fun! The only thing I didn't like was the fish-strip pieces in that red packet. I couldn't eat those. I absolutely loved this box of Japanese sweets and I will definitely be buying from here again! I recommend the readers of this review to buy this, too. It's so fun receiving a box full of random mystery Japanese candies! And dear seller, I'm so happy about what you do! Excellent tastes, Fast and Secure Delivery!
Excellent little package of various snacks / sweets. Positives! The best ones were the rainbow-colored star (chocolate/wafer taste), some of the other elongated puffs (with carious tastes like: Curry, fish [yes, fish!], maize, teriyaki. One of the items was a powdered beer... I couldn't read the instructions so I just poured cold water into the mix and surely enough... tastes JUST like beer.... foam and everything. Amazing! Negatives! Only thing I didn't like were the fish strips (red package with a blue fish on the top side, content is yellow fish smelling strips) I don't hate the taste of fish usually but this one was a bit too potent. Fish lovers may like it though! NOTE: The package arrived by air mail and arrived 10 days after I placed my order, I did not expect it to arrive so fast! WOW!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

i brought this because my children, aged 8,10, & 12, got curious after watching youtube videos of snackbox reviews. this box contained many of the same things that are in the more expensive ''branded'' snack crates but for a fraction of the price, and without the need to subscribe, which is great on the chance the kids did not like any of the snacks, PLOT TWIST! the kids loved it all, and have asked me to buy this box again, which i will, probably monthly as a treat, as it is great value for money and it arrive fairly quickly to.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Something totally different and delightful. Each item is visually appealing. There's a pamphlet to tell you about each treat, just like a box of chocolates. Also there's some savoury items which I think is great. Even a sachet to make a Japanese drink! I got this for my 13 year old daughter and it was an instant hit.
