Great beginner crawler
Axial is one of the originators in the scene for scale crawling. Great scale crawler that is good for beginners. A good platform to learn about scale crawling and upgrading. There are tons of optional upgrade parts from Axial or aftermarket suppliers. The sky is the limit in options for Axial products. Axial is owned by Horizon Hobby which is one of the biggest names in the industry , they also own other RC brands so support and product supply is usually good online. They are terrible and obviously don't care about loyal customers.
Horizon Hobby did it to me again, canceled my order with no explanation at all. Waited two weeks only to have my order canceled. I ordered all kinds of upgrade parts as well, and now I have no model to put them on. I wouldn't be so mad but they did the same thing on their website with the Early Ford Bronco model, order canceled no reason given. And this was a gift for my son's b-day what a joke. as an innovator in the industry to open a box and be so happy with an incredible truck that does exactly what it was made for is almost too good to be true!! BUY ONE OR TEN!! added an apex 138mm 56 led light bar that fit in the cage right behind cab and no drilling the body! i did add the aluminum beadlocks and the axial maxxis trepador tires mainly for asthetics!!

Love the new rig
So I received my truck all in one piece and packaged well, and came with a bunch of spares which was good because I was able to upgrade the front end to 4 link suspension straight away. I would suggest to anyone getting into the hobby as it is quite capable straight out of the box and a good platform to progress and upgrade

Terrible build quality
Well forst off for the price of almost $400 dollars the body is very cheap and flimsy. There is no on/off switch it is a hassle to disconnect the battery after removing the body everytime. On the first run the front lights stopped working, after investigating turns the wires for the light literally fell out of the housing so they will no longer work and need to be replaced. Functionality wise does ok driving but poor build quality for a $370 car. My $160 redcat is way better built than this. Prolly would not purchase again or recommend this one to anyone.

Axles
Axles are a total waste of design nothings replaceable, besides buying both new front and rear axles with changeable c hubs and shock/ lowerlink mounts. Pretty expensive rig to have these kind of axles. Also threw out the 35t with the 13 tooth pinion and installed at 21t goolrc 540 with a 18t pinion. Way more fun. and of course 2.2 mudslingers

Fun little unit. Very capable
It's set up just about right for the things im crawling over. Dirt, Rocks, concrete, asphalt, bricks, logs.... pretty much anything thats in front of it. More articulation and nose weight would be nice.
