fantastic bit of kit

BT Ultra HD YouView Box UHD DTR-T4000/1TB with Twin HD Freeview and 7 Day Catch Up
This YouView box replaced a 10-15 year old TalkTalk box which was becoming unreliable. The BT box works perfectly, although I have not yet tried to record a 4K programme. The installation instructions that came with box were very clear, which made the installation process simple. The BT box works smoothly and the operation is virtually identical to the TalkTalk box. The increased recording capacity of 1TB compared to the 320 MB of the TalkTalk box means that even recording at 4K capacity should never be a problem. Compact with great features

Good box but the 4K passthrough requirements are a bit quirky
Excellent replacement for my original BT Youview box. However, don't expect it to pass through 4K for Netflix etc if you don't have HDCP HDR compliant equipment; it won't do 4K without HDR for some reason. Shame really.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Simply Brilliant!
We've had the normal hd versions which are still great, but being newer technology, this UHD version seems to perform even better! Even if you don't have a UHD TV the picture on normal non hd channels is noticeably better, just wish BT and Youview would give it WiFi connectivity rather than having to mainline the internet or using those silly plugs!
