Great Charger - highly recomended
Very easy to use, not the best manual, but there are a bunch of YouTube videos that explain the step by steps really well. It's a great budget charger, it does everything I need it to do and was quick to learn & use. I see guys using chargers they paid $200+ for and what a waste of money - this unit pretty much does it all! I've put it through about 6 charge cycles already & it doesn't get hot. I'd have to say this is the best bang for the buck in LiPo chargers. It also charge NiMh, NiCad, etc (which I haven't done), but I love the flexibility.

Smoked/Burn
Reading all the good reviews, I decided to purchase this charger. However I would not recommend because this thing is a fire hazard. The charger was set up to charge my 1400mah 3S lipo battery. Used the balance charger mode. I was checking the charging every like 10 min and about 30 min I smelled something and noticed that there's smoke coming out of the charger case. Unplugged the charger and took battery out. Noticed that the battery was puffed. Beware. don't leave this thing unattended.

Affordable, with good functionality.
I was reluctant when I saw how affordable this charger was. No, It’s not a top of the line charger, but the price and functionality of the B6 is worth every cent. I use it for my lipo drone batteries. They came with a factory charger, but the factory made chargers don’t completely top the batt bank. The B6 does. I would recommend this charger if your starting out a new hobby, but on a budget. This is a perfect start!

Works well but leads could use some improvement.
Because I already have several of these it is as expected. I only gave it four stars because of the leads. The alligator clip wires are too short and the alligator clips don't work well. I made my own set of leads to take care of the problem.

Great price, lots of functions, and safe.
I am pleasantly surprised with this battery charger. The instruction manual is thorough, albeit, a little difficult to understand. Charger functions are intuitive and and easily changed. You must provide your own power supply and a wide range of supply's fit the bill. There are several connectors included that I have no idea what they are used for. If your batteries use Deans(T) connectors you are in good shape. However, there is an alligator attachment that easily and safely works with XT-60's. It does have an inherent annoying beep and the buttons are a little clunky but at this price point i didnt expect too much. I would definitely recommend reading and rereading the manual before charging a lithium battery with this or any charger. All in all, it does everything you need to charge and maintain Lipo and other batteries safely and while staying within a budget.

Good price good charging unit.
Charges the batts to proper voltage, stops charge at proper mah setting. Noticed the battery memory select don’t work work but never use anyway.. Ther is a hidden setting to calibrate to proper voltage top off if necessary. YouTube has a video on it under imb6 voltage adjust. Pretty happy so far with this charger, mainly bought and use for my drone copter lipo battery’s . NOTE Alway set mah battery rating to prevent over charging.

Over all, a very useful charger especially when you consider the price.
Note: Not all IMax B6's run the same firmware or have the same features. My latest Imax B6 has a digital power supply feature I have found useful. It charges and discharges Lithium, NiCd, and NiMh quite well. Have not tried it on lead acid yet. Another nice feature is it can cycle NiCd automatically to restore their capacity. Over all, a very useful charger especially when you consider the price.
