Skil saw is great for the hard plastic packages, cardboard and even up to 1/8 inch bamboo weave.
It's one of the best tools I have ever found for it's ease of use and the amount of different materials it cuts through like butter. I bought my first one about 4 years ago and used it almost every day before I had to look for a new one. I do not know why they are so hard to find. Every site I went to would not ship to Hawaii. Does the job
I have used the Skil Power Cutter now for several months and it working as expected. I purchased it to specifically cut cardboard boxes down to be able to recycle them. I am a frequent online shopper and had accumulated a lot of cardboard boxes. My township has a requirement on the size of cardboard to put in our recycle bin and I was having a hard time "breaking/tearing" down the boxes.
