Sturdy , easy to fit and well worth having ......first use was on a new 420-800 mm zoom lens when photographing the moon .......made a considerable difference to final image , shading shots from any outside light sources.

Don't bother.
Thought I'd try this on my Canon 70 to 200 L f4 lens. I found it difficult to adjust the locking ring as it was cross threaded. After getting it properly threaded I tried to fit it onto the lens, again it was difficult not to cross thread the lens cap onto the lens. Eventually I managed to fit it on. The main problem is the time it takes to fit and is very frustrating to the point I lost interest and just fitted the Canon lens cap even though it looks quite unwieldy.
