Great for short hair
As previously stated it takes a long time to fully charge .I normally have a no3 and I managed to cut my hair on my own quite comfortably. The attachments are easy to fit and oil and a brush are supplied. The shaver operated fine power wise and I had no issues. I suspect cutting long hair may be a different prospect for battery life and repeated use will drain it quickly .For the price and under the current circumstances it's worth the moneyVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

The Jury's Out
This product is well priced, of simple design and lightweight which makes it easy to handle. However, with a 16 hour (re)charging time for up to an hour's use, one has to be well prepared in advance. What is more frustrating is that there is a light which is red when a recharge is needed that turns blue after a few hours recharging - but that only gives a few minutes of use. There is nothing to indicate when the unit has been fully recharged. It can be used whilst plugged into the mains but the whole point of a rechargable unit is to be free of the trailing lead. I haven't been able to rate the quality of the finished haircut as my wife cut my hair with scissors whilst the clippers were charging! Due to Coronavirus & the barber's being closed for some time to come, I needed these clippers. I did top & sides of my head & partner finished off the back. I needed a trimmer with grade attachments up to #8. Not many choices left with a rush on orders during the lockdown, but saw these and seemed to be exactly what I was looking for. Had originally looked at cheaper corded only trimmers, most of which were sold out. Glad I paid a bit more for this as cordless is much easier to use.
