Using as a motorhome awning
This is not particularly lightweight as the poles are steel rather than carbon fibre. However the product is all the better for it as it makes it more robust. As mentioned we are using this as a motorhome awning on our VW T4 and not as a tent extension, and to that end it fits very well - we simply guy rope the open end of the extension over the van.
