Fulfills it's purpose!
This is good value for your money, lots of different programs for different types of cooking! (Haven't tried anything other the the pressure one).It does what it's suppose to and it does it good.
I make snus with it and it's been grate at that. I'm not gonna try foods thought since the tobacco smell is stuck in the lid. But that't not the products fault. During cooking it doesn't let any smells out and trust me that's important or else your partner/roommates might ask you to stop making snus.. So if it can hold in the strong and sharp smell of the tobacco pasteurizing it probably can so with "surströmming" (like the worst smell you can imagine) to if you wanna pressure cook that for some odd reason.
The teflon inner pot is great and nothing seems to stick but be careful and don't use metal tools or glass or something that can damage the teflon coating because it damages rather easy.
What's negative is the ui/menu while not that hard to use it's more annoying, every time you touch a control it makes a little bell melody chime sound, even when setting the temp or time, like every little step there's this annoying little sound. So if you have to make some snus late at night and have guests sleeping in the kitchen for some reason, you'll have to wait or murder them I duno depends how much you need that snus.
The menu it self is quite badly designed and pretty confusing at first, I bought my cooker used so didn't get a manual. The LED display panel can't be viewed from an standing position when the cooker is on a table or shelf. So the viewing angle seems really bad. Not that it's a tv or anything but annoying even so. Also I'd like some info displayed, like temps and such during pressure cooking, but the nature of the universe might make this impossible.
Snus recipe (Gives ca 2kg of snus) (50 dosor):
900g tobacco (ground to a powder or a little bit more course)
1100g water
130g salt
Mix extremely well, not try parts allowed!!
Put the tobacco mixture In a separate pot inside the inner pot, the extra pot needs to stand on something so there can flow water below it. I used some square stones i found (Not good for the teflon tho). Add water to the inner pot add as much needed to reach the minimum mark, but not to the tobacco pot. duh...
Then cook for 5h on the "pressure cooking" setting. When done take out the tobacco pot.
Then add:
70 grams of natrium/kalium carbonate (SHARP FUMES AHEAD!! Use a gasmask or just be a man.. )
More water if needed.
65g propylenglycol
65g glycerin
Then stir with an electric stirring machine or an kitchen assistant. Until the snus is easy to "bake" in to a ball. Can take up to 2h depending on the tobacco.
Now let it rest in the fridge for 3-4 weeks after that you can snus it :D
If you want you can ad flavors to it, anything you like except sugary things or sour things. A ph value close to 8.0 is ideal.
