Not bad for the price.
The unit is advertised as 50000mAh (or 50Ah), which I really can't imagine is even close to the real value. The best 18650 batteries on the market are around 3600mAh, and this unit is big enough to hold 8 of them (I haven't done a teardown yet to confirm, but that is my educated assessment). 8 x 3600 = 28800mAh, or just over half the stated capacity. So expect to get about half the stated mAh out of it, maybe less. Still it's a sizeable chunk of battery for the price. The packaging (and the joke of a "manual") don't have anything anywhere to state what capacity the power bank is, so it's a good chance the 50,000mAh was just made up by someone without a clue. Maybe turn the 5 upside down to make it 20,000mAh would be more realistic.
The physical design of it is good enough, and I doubt I'll ever make use of all four ports.
Initial tests make me think the ports are limited to just 500mA each, which means quite a slow charge. That's not actually a bad thing, since it reduces the strain on the batteries improving the life of them. Most phones are more than happy with that. More tests to follow though another day.
Oh, and remember: the stated 50,000mAh isn't a lie, it's just using "alternative facts" ;)
