OK, but not as good as original Binatone 1900 phones
Just still OK, it works, but cheapened in this later model, so only 3-stars. Gone is the LCD backlight. Gone is the handsfree button, replaced with a useless redundant redail button (a function already provided by pressing the menu down key). Gone are 5 of the original 10 ring melodies, all the more complex+interesting tune melodies numbered 6-10 are missing, leaving just simple tone/warble varients. Lastly, gone is the option for the base station to use old style slow pulse dialing, which would probably now only matter if using an ancient PBX. Also an annoying difference is the key tone beep, which is now a louder harsher beep than on the older models. This phone is all black plastic, instead of the white keypad-side and black back of my older phones. Same 5 redial memory, 10 incoming Caller-ID memory, and 20-number phonebook. Still has dual LCDs, one on the back of the handset, one with the keypad side, but now missing the nice 10-second backlight for the keypad LCD whenever a key is pressed.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

what can i say.
has only 5 ring tones not 10. no instructions so cant work out the answering machine, they did sent instructions via email. impossible to read, still cant see any answering machine instructions, so not much good really, will have to spend out om another fone as not going to pay to send it back it isn't worth the bother,Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Refurb vs New
I bought this cordless phone (refurbished) and when opened and connected it didn't worked. Phone not alive perhaps problem with its charger or may be it's internal battery faulty hence not charging. Now I have to buy a battery first let see if it charges, then I will buy it's charger otherwise. Phone was cheap but looks good in quality. I hope I will make it operational otherwise money wasted. Binatone 1900 Twin
This product was advertised as having a built in answer machine which was why I ordered it. However, it transpires that this model DOES NOT have the built in answer machine. I have had verification from Binatone themselves that this is true ! Only the next model up - Lifestyle 1910 has the built in answer machine !!
