A renowned and popular timepiece, lightly modified to create something a little more unique. Vostok Amphibia Russian Dive Watch. Brand New, Boxed with papers. Full lume 'Flieger' dial, reminiscent of early 20th century pilot watches. Flieger style hands. Original bezel swapped for a new plain bezel. New suede feel leather strap. Genuine 200m dive capability. Case design 420. A real head-turner, conversation piece, and addition to anyone's collection. A Brief History In 1942 the Moscow Watch Company evacuated to its current home in Chistopol City. The Vostok name was adopted in the 1960s, and the Amphibia arrived in 1968. It is driven by the 31 jewel Vostok 2416b automatic movement. It has been described as being "tougher than Russian steak." It has a power reserve of over 30 hours.

Be the envy of "Spies the World Over"
It is rare for a KGB watch to be seen outside the confines of Red Square and rarer still that an operative would wear one in the USA or anywhere where suspicions might be raised. I find it charming, and a little clique as adjusting the date takes much patience and time. It has a near sweeping hand as its automatic once you have figured out how to wind it up, it self- winds after that. If you are looking for a talking point stylish and unusual watch this is the one for you.

Vostok watch
I bought this watch for my husband who wears the watch every day. He can't believe that this is an automatic watch as it is keeping perfect time. He keeps saying he is going to take the back of the watch off to see if it has a battery in it. I haven't heard him saying anything negative about it. I bought another one for my son-in-law.
