  • Good quality but small with weird side pouches. OK for a medium to small person.

SUMMARY: Good quality but small with weird side pouches. OK for a medium to small person. Looks exactly as on the photo here. Great manufacturing quality. Very good materials (buckles, fabric etc.) The side pouches are weird - they don't fit a traditional military canteen, I had to get an 800 ml Swiss one (with a cooking cup, which barely fits, but fits). They also seem to be in a weird position - not manufacturing error, mind you, but on purpose. In the end I removed those and got a more sleek design LOL. I also added a rectangular piece of old sleeping pad to the large pocket inside to cushion my back. Generally a good backpack but I guess it's more appropriate for a smaller guy. I'm tallish and fat (189 cm, 115 kg) and when the pack is full putting the pack on is a real chore. In the end I use it as a small summer pack. And when my work bag dies I'll carry this on. PS: In the picture is my setup for a May overnighter with friends in a cottage. If I had to carry stuff like sleeping pad or a large tarp I would've chosen my beloved Savotta Jakaari S, which I can't recommend enough. The carabiners on the lid of the pack are to shorten the straps to holt the blanket in place.
