Functions well in spite of bad build quality and design
The plastic casing is poor and needs to be grappled with for battery changes. This causes various circuit boards and switchgear to fall out which then need some dexterity to get everything back to a working item. Once powered, the sensitivity is good and it is small and light enough to crawl along a cable trunk. Great for the price
Great product for the price. I had lost a cable in the ceiling of a new build and thought i would try this to see if I could find it using the tone facility. Within 30 minutes I had found the missing cable end. It did what I needed at a very low cost compared to some better quality products. I think I was lucky that the cable end was quite close to the plasterboard ceiling. The further the cable is away the less tone change and therefore the harder to detect. Good for the price

It gives an idea of the cable yr tracing
