Cheap and not very cheerful. Definitely got what I paid for!
Very cheap and nasty. The sliding white part is too loose, so when measuring it slips down as you take it out from under the wheel arch after taking a measurement. Secondly, the measurement was way out. I had to trim a few millimetres off the red part's base in order to get the indicator correctly matched up with the origin. Now, if I'm careful, I can just about take a roughly indicative tread depth reading.
