Quality and compact
I ended up buying 6 of these in total. They are easy to use and have some really good features. You use the cover to make depressions for the seeds, They make watering easy into the base. The cover can be fitted to have a vent or not. 49 cells cover a very small footprint, and they can be stacked on top of each other. I have 3 on top of 3 on a small bathroom window sill giving me nearly 300 cells. Haven't used the function of removing the plugs by pushing them down into the bottom section as my seeds have grown at different speeds. Great for chillies
So I have this in my cold shed in a bubble wrapped old dog cage with two heat mats attached to a thermostat. The seedlings are popping up in November quicker than I have ever managed before. Absolutely brilliant
I'm very new to growing flowers and veg. I started with a windowsill propagator and then found the Agralan Compact Plug Plant Trainer. I much prefer the Agralan propagator. It's more compact. You don't have to untangle the roots of the seedlings when they need potting on. The vent appears to have helped avoid mould and the water store is easy to see when it needs topping up. Really neat little propagator
Found these online when looking for some new propagators. I know they're not cheap, but you get what you pay for. Strong plastic so sturdy but the main points of these is the deep rooting of each cell, the base is designed so that you can push the plugs out when ready to pot on plus the lid can be used to make holes for the seeds and has two positions; fully closed or ventilated. I nice, compact unit for planting your seeds in and can be used time and time again.

Purchase one of these to try as had good feedback. Found this plug trainer well made. Only one problem is it not easy to remove one or two plugs but made a single plug pusher out of a piece of douling.
