    Great Adapter Cable

    Had a hard drive from an old broken YouView box and didn’t want to throw it out. My PC had a second bay but only an IDE style power connector. This cable does the job perfectly. Easy to fit and allowed me to continue using a perfectly good drive.

    It did not missed the marks, good every way possible. I boght the wrong product, Cost £2,789 delivered. PayPal wants £3.11 for return cost to pay my purchased cost £2.79. Can only laugh.

    A great idea slightly let down by build

    After buying the first of tghese I bought several more as at work I do a lot of messing about changing disk drives and am not impressed with the reliability of SATA when connecting individual power and data connectors. Too many have snapped.I have had no issues at the SATA end but have found that the 4 pin molex after a while becomes difficult to line all 4 pins up. If you are adding a SATA drive to a PC with molex power and don't intend messing about with it too much this is a great product but not if you are doing a lot of bench testing and swapping connections on a frequent basis.

    More robust combination

    Prefer the all in one, Sata/Data connectors, feels firm and better connected to the drive and without the risk of damaging the terminal strips due to gravitated weight. The material of the connector is more robust than the standard independent SATA plugs that can slit easily (they become brittle). Early days for the extended duration test... Very pleased with this product, good price for a combined unit.

    Good Product

    Easy to install quality of cables is first rate. The only problem I had was the power plug was difficuilt to mate with supply in my computer, not a major problem just took to line pins and sockets. Taken everything innto account I found it good value for the money and it works fine.
