Lots of suction
I just went over carpet that I vacuumed the day before with my shark. I had a full tank for a single room more than once. My only issue is I am having trouble adjusting the pile height. It is great on hardwood and tile floors. Too much suction on my new carpet. it tips over easy !
the good suction is the best feature of this vacuum, it is easy to empty the dust tank, but it is not easy to use for me, one thing i dislike the most about this vacuum is that it tips over almost every time i stand it as if the 2 little side ball shaped stand support are not big or strong enough to keep the vacuum standing :( i gave the 3 stars mainly for the suction power !Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

A real pain!
Even though the price was decent for a Dyson compared to other sites and vendors, this model is a REAL pain, the filters have to be CONSTANTLY washed even though it recommends to do it once a month, but if you don't do it once a week, the thing overheats and refused to work!! It is also a pain to unclogged the internal pipes which get clogged with ridiculously small things! I thought the ads said that it doesn't loose suction, well, let me tell you that it doesn't have much power and my carpeted areas are very small. Dyson customer service is a joke also. This vacuum is the easiest one I have ever used! The ball makes it quick around corners and furniture. It is also easy to change from floor to carpet. Powerful & lightweight, works on carpet or hardwood.

Dude, you got a Dyson!
I resisted purchasing a Dyson, because I thought they were too expensive, but a refurbished one fit my budget perfectly and I could not be happier. This thing makes vacuuming fun! I was literally able to park it at the bottom of a flight of stairs and extend the cleaning hose all the way up to the top to vacuum the stairs! And the hose/brush easily reaches cobwebs in the corners of the ceiling. Equally amazing is the power of the rug brush which can be turned on and off as needed. This model is 15 lbs and it worked excellent, compared to the newer model which is 22-25 lbs, it is less weight. Especially when I carried it on the 2nd floor, you will notice the difference.
