The best in smooth leather restoration!
During the lockdown last spring I became acquainted with the Saphir leather care products. All of them are top-of-the-line in my book! The Renovateur luxury leather care balm is no exception to the highest quality description. If you have leather products that are smooth leather, or box calf, & in need of rejuvenation this is the one to use. I have restored two fine smooth leather jackets with this, it's easy to apply and buffs-up to a nice sheen. I used the other Saphir products on my shoes & restored more than 25 pair, Tre bien! The French know their onions when it comes to leather care! and the Saphir line is the best I have used. Just a tip that is not included in the instructions for use: The lable shows waiting 3" before buffing off after applying; I recommend an hour, or even longer for deep nourishment.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Saphir Renovateur - Pros/Cons
Pros: The stuff really works to revive the leather and soften it up - it soaks right in and you really only need to use a very small amount for one application. Since I buy slightly used shoes off of Ebay, I uses it to get the leather to mold to my feet. It seems to help. Also, I like the smell of it. Some may not like it, but I just do. Cons: It will mess up a nice polish/shine on your shoes. You will need to reapply wax and buff it out again. That's something I wasn't aware of.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I used this product to clean and restore a pair of dress shoes that were water logged in the rain. All the salt was removed and the leather was left with a supple smooth finish that I polished to a beautiful shine with shoe cream and Saphir polishing wax.. For Leather Try This First
Used it on car seats and it did what no other leather restorer was able to. Had sun dried leather I thought was a goner and it brought it back to life like new again. Excellent Shoe Care
Using this, as a conditioner after Fiebings Saddle Soap, is excellent leather care. It is based with a few good ingredients, natural Mink Oil, Lanoline, and Beeswax. Then, finish with Lincoln Shoe Wax (for shoes, for a finishing polish). Replenishes leather naturally and allows the leather to Breathe!
