Just plug it on your PC and it works (for Ubuntu 20.04)
I have been using it for a week now. Initially I had issues of interference with the wireless keyboard so had to move the WIFI dongle to the back of the system and the other USB devices to the front. After the move, it has been running fine so far. I only use it for work and not for video calls or games so have been happy with it. Also I am using it with Ubuntu 20.04. Make sure you understand ambiguous technical jargon.
The instructions on how to use the dongle must have been written for Einstein. At one point, it asks you to enter a particular password from the wi-fi in the house, but as there are three passwords available, and none of them work, I am unable to use the dongle. Stopped my laptop from disconnecting
My laptop stopped connecting to my wifi, despite it having worked fine just months before. My wifi would drop off every few minutes and it was driving me mad!! Great wi-fi adapter
The internal WiFi adapter of my HP laptop would not connect to my home network even though it appeared to be getting a strong signal so I assumed it must be faulty. I'm using Windows 10, so I disabled the internal adapter from control panel, plugged this one in (didn't need the driver disk) and it worked first time, 802.11n connection to my router, no hassle at all. Does exactly what I expected
I bought this item in order to attempt to get a wireless signal to a computer at the opposite end of the house to the Router. This was achieved, simply and easily. All that was required was to plug it in, insert the mini CD, give the software time to load the drivers and 'Bingo' we were up and running. The Dongle did exactly what I needed it to do.
