Positive piston stop

It's acceptable

Did not work on a Chevy SBC
I found this tool to be useless on a Chevy 350 build. With it installed in number one cylinder and using a 16" ratchet I rotated the engine a full revolution and felt nothing. When I removed the stop tool, I found it to be bent but I never even felt any resistance. I then inserted an 18" section of 5/16 fuel hose into the cylinder rotated it until the piston stopped marked the location then rotated it in the opposite direction until it stopped again marking the location then removed the hose and brought it around till the pointer was exactly in the center of both marks and had perfect top dead center all with a piece of used hose that cost nothing, wish I had thought of that before I wasted my money.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
