    Great phone

** Note like many of the reviews I realised after a couple of days that my phone loses the dial tone after a few hours, after the screen goes off. It seems to be a software bug with Android killing the DECT phone app after it goes to sleep mode. Luckily, there's an easy fix, download the free app called "Wake Lock" (icon is a light bulb) from the Google PlayStore, install and set it to the option "screen_dim_wake_lock" and set its options (by pressing the hardware button with 4 rectangles on it) to tick the options for "Autostart on boot" and "Notification". This will then allow the screen to dim but not turn off - the phone then never drops its connection to the base station and you won't miss any calls! Takes less than 5 minutes to do! ** Very good android phone. Great features for the price - at full RRP, it would be way too expensive, but as a refurb it's good. Anyone who is used to the Android OS will be fine with it - probably not a phone for those who are not comfortable with Android. Not the most powerful of processors and memory is limited, but fine for its use. It works best with auto updates turned off to save storage space, and to stop big downloads starting automatically, which take up all the processing power (e.g. updating Google Play Services takes around 250MB space - it also automatically starts downloading when the phone is newly set up which makes the phone respond VERY slowly until it finishes downloading and installing). So, best to keep the old Play Services and prevent updating, and install a small internet browser from Play Store instead of the latest Chrome. It IS also possible to install Viber or WhatsApp via APK (can't do via Play Store as it detects it isn't a mobile phone). This is really easy to do...just google installing apps via APK. All in all, a lot more interesting than a basic phone!

    Not a good buy

The phone itself is ok with good features but the battery is rubbish and only lasts for about 5 phone calls and we charge it every night - that's without using the internet!! The phone goes dead at least every two days and you need to take the battery out and restart it. Overall ok but needs a better battery for sure

  • It's a step in the right direction

The phone works fine, just like a normal mobile phone. It does everything an android phone does except for apps like whatsapp, which requires a SIM card to work. Although the android system on the phone seems a little slow compared to an android mobile phone, it's simply great to have an android home phone. You would hardly worry about things like its battery power length, unlike a regular home phone. It's battery can last for hours, just like a new mobile phone. In all, I'll say it's a step in the right direction. 👍🏿

  • It had so many faults, rarely worked

A phone in which you could not be sure would work, it worked some days other days no response. Faulty product

  • Memory

Has a lack of internal memory but SD card can solve the problem. Difficult to use along with telecare systems.

  • Ok, but that's about it.

Cheaper quality than the cheapest Chinese Android phone you could find. Very laggy and slow, terrible touch screen but works.
