The mixer requires a lot of ventilated air flow to keep the motor cool. Has your mixer motor stopped working?. This kit is not suitable for a A901e. Worn Feet on the base of the mixer should be replaced.

Time consuming repair but saves buying a new mixer
Being an amateur electrician it took some time to work out which part went where as the replacement parts were updated versions from the original . After ringing up the supplier I recieved excellent advice and instructions as to how to complete the repair which I carried out and the Kenwood Chef is now working perfectly at the moment. A good product.
Of course the repair hasn't been long done so I have no idea whether it will stand the test of time - though generally with electronics if they work at the outset they will continue to work. All the kit items were as required and reasonably easy to fit - if a little fiddly. It would have been helpful if some heat transfer medium were supplied for applying between the triac and the heat sink. Just a note - beware when unsoldering the original components - it is easy to snap off the tabs that the components were originally attached to as they are bent round and soldered making it a little tricky to remove them (the components). A solder remover would help here. But overall a good product and relatively easy to replace all the components yourself.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good value for money
This is easy enough to replace for the competent DIY er once you have worked out that the capacitor described as 150nF on the instructions translates into 0.15uF on the original and likewise with the capacitor 47nF which translates into 0.47uf, at least they did on my kenwood A901. My request for clarification was ignored , which is a shame because they worked a treat when replaced and cured the speed problem.
