well made with some very good features
I usually have at least 4 mini grinders on the go at any one time one for cutting one for linishing one for wire wheel work and last but not least the one in the angle grinder stand for chopping heavy metal stock off bar lengths, so I have some experience of what constitutes a good grinder and this has it in spades, its well balanced the guard the guard is a push button one that beats the heck out of those flimsy types with an over centre lever and way better than reaching for the screwdriver and it stays where you put it, the ability to use a hex key rather than a peg spanner is great as I have them to hand all the time plus the leverage without the slipping that peg spanners sometimes suffer from is very good, I am still getting used to the side mounted on off switch but its actually handier in some cases ie working in confined areas on car bodywork, I cant comment on durability yet as I have only used it for a week, but it appears well madeVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

DWE4206115mm Grinder 1010W 240V. Owned for a few days. Used it about 30 mins. Need more time to criticise properly. Depth of cut is almost the same as my old B&D grinder with 125mm disc. Plenty of power. Spin speed is much higher and noisier than the B&D. Spin speed tends to smooth out vibrations. Cannot see benefit of the claim side handle absorbs vibration making it more comfortable. Positoning the guard is easy untill set too far left or right. I've had many angle grinders over the years and this one beats them all hands down. Many of them had awkward to operate switches, some were unbelievably noisy while other burnt out after a short while. A very good tool, but.
I wouldn't say amazing, I would say very good and effective as well as good value. I have slight reservations about the switch for locking the spindle to load flap disks for instance and the system for registering the tool for guarantee is appalling. I tried on several occasions, used 'chat' at least three times without success and eventually gave up. I cannot fault this product, I have several of them in a very challenging industrial environment and they are all still going strong. Used hard every day, they run cool with plenty of power.
