Opie Winston, played by actor Ryan Hurst, is an imposing man of a few words. He prefers to let his weapons do the talking for him. This Mezco Toyz Sons of Anarchy action figure perfectly captures Hurst's likeness and the character's attitude. This version of Opie was originally an Entertainment Earth exclusive and comes with different accessories than the original release. Mezco Toyz is a master at sculpting, and this Opie action figure is a true testament to their ability. The sculpt is phenomenal, with the figure perfectly resembling Hurst himself. His oily beard captures the character's uncouth appearance. His light brown eye color is a perfect match for the actor. The detached yet stern expression may remind you of some of your favorite episodes starring this character. The character's jacket is a sculpted piece that helps provide depth to the mold. Each individual zipper and pocket are painted and sculpted onto this jacket. Each SAMCRO patch seen on Opie's jacket on the show is present in this figure. These patches are perfectly aligned and feature a slight degree of weathering, just like the real thing. The character's shirt is half tucked in, further adding to the realism of this action figure. The pants feature a number of creases and wrinkles, draping over the figure's brown work boots. Even the soles of these boots are sculpted to give the appearance of real boots. The Sons of Anarchy Opie figure has three points of articulation. The character's head is on a ball joint. Despite his long hair, the head moves freely in all directions. Both of Opie's arms feature ball joints in each shoulder. These joints allow Opie to move his arms in all directions, including over his head and directly out in front of him. While Opie has no articulation in his legs, Mezco has placed the figure into a neutral stance. This stance ensures the action figure should not fall over no matter what position you place the arms in. The character’s flat feet keep him standing no matter what surface you put him on. The Sons of Anarchy action figure comes with one accessory: a knife. This tiny blade is incredibly realistic, with a sharp silver blade and detailing on the handle. You can place this weapon into the figure's left hand. When not in use, you can store this knife in the holster on the side of the figure's leg. The regular version of this figure features the toy with a full head of hair. However, the Entertainment Earth version is wearing a hat. This knit hat is what Opie usually wore when he was out for a ride with his crew. The hat features exquisite detail, with Mezco detailing every stitch in the hat.
