Compact and capable
This box is nice and compact, it looks tiny next to my surround sound amp. It is easy to push the wrong button around the central navigation control though and getting to your recordings is a bit of a pallaver. You have to go through the Youview button to get to them where a dedicated button for them would be easier. All in all a decent box which can be used to receive Freeview only if you want it to, no need to sign up to any ISP unless you want PPV TV.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

I subscribe to Talktalk Plus TV with Sky channels. The original TalkTalk Huawei plus box consistently failed to record good quality IPTV sky channels. Playback was choppy during most times of the day and the interface was slow even with a 14mb internet speed. I got this box based on advice from forum chats and what a difference it makes. If you have any doubts, dont, buy this one. The IPTV channels soon reappear on your listings after clicking update in settings and a reboot. Even the TT TV boosts are loaded and can be added.
