Only a little extra cost for such quality - jagwire
I purchased some new v-brake arms and they came with some brake pads of low quality and I already had jagwire brand installed on my rear wheel, thinking that I would not be using my front brake much I opted for the low quality brake pad for the front, however lesson learnt when the wet weather came round and I found myself using the front brake more and realising how bad the stock pads actually were I immediately purchased these and what a difference from the start - A must for any V-brake bike, electric one's too!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

My New Favourite Break Pads
Never tried this brand before, but these had encouraging reviews, so I thought I'd give them a go I really do like them. They have a softness to the breaking. Now, don't get me wrong, I can certainly break hard and stop fast if/when needed. I've tested that down a bank. But, I mean they don't make you jut/jerk while using them generally. The pads themselves are slightly softer. Which I've also found makes them unlikely to squeek. They haven't at all for me, so far, and I've been out in downpours, as well as totally dry weather.
