Perfect seal!
Top class product here, You can try PVA and all sorts and WP70 sealant, sprays etc, but it does not cut the grease. Been trying to find the product again for years. Excuse my french, Sod Ronseal and their motto that it does exactly what it says on the tin. Always used Rustins in the early 1970's. It is just as good as it always has been. difficult to use
I have used other damp proofing products before and do not recall any problem applying them. This one however I did find difficult to apply. i stirred it well and it looked Ok in the can but somehow seemed very thin and runny and reluctant to stay on the brush. Just kept running down the handle of the brush and up my arm so need to only put tiny amount on the brush and then keep the brush pointing down - difficult close to a ceiling. Considering it just ran off the brush it then showed a reluctance to leave the brush and adhere to the wall surface, and when it did it went on in ridges where it instantly set. Attempts then to go over it and brush it out resulted in a stringy effect. Maybe i just had a bad can. As to if it will do the job still or not, time will tell, but I have papered over it and the wall looks reasonably flat. Wish i had gone for a more traditional bitumen product as I knew where i was with that.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
