Nowhere near as bad as some of the reviews would have you think.
Poor finish was easily touched up with Emery board. Sights almost dead on & slightly high with lead and alloy pellets right out of box. High visibility rear sight allows for easy sight alignment when tipping up barrel for long range shots. Easily penetrates both sides of heavy double corrugated cardboard shipping container at 30ft.with lead pellets. Maybe I just got a good one!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Sad disappointment
Might as well be a kids toy ! Wouldn't be afraid to stand 10 yards away and let someone shot at me . 1 they would miss or if they got lucky and hit me doubt if it would even sting I could see the pellet leaving the barrel and going threw the air ! Pellets
This pistol will shot lead pellets but not copper coated pellets. I don't think it's worth the money. Just keep it for kids to learn with. For about the same money buy the Beeman P17, good value.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I really like the Gamo P-900! It is lightweight and very accurate. It is a single shot, break barrel air pistol.(.177 caliber). It is good for plinking and is very accurate from 15 to 25 feet.
