Brilliant and worked faultlessly. Very well made too and took me only 10 minutes to fit. If you are not sure connecting the red ignition wire to the fuse box then leave it to a professional and on no account connect the continuous live feed to the red as you are asking for trouble and could cause a fire. You will only drain your battery too because it will never be off, even when you think it is turned off it will be still on so leave it to a professional if you are at all not sure. This is a super fine radio harness and as I say it is very well made and everything is spot on if you do it as per instructed. Just the job
This kit saves a multitude of headaches. When fitting a new sound system to any car makes your blood run cold but this kit contains everything you need to save on grazed knuckles and blown fuses, especially with modern cars. Removal tools fit old stereo perfectly. The aerial adapter definitely needed and wiring adaptor plugs straight in. You will need to buy an inline fuse adaptor as the red wire has to be connected to a power supply (battery) otherwise you will get some unusual displays from your car. Perfect!
After buying various adapters that didn't work, I found this one and it works as needed. You just need to wire the red wire to a ignition source, I wired mines to the 12v socket fuse so it goes on and off with the ignition.
