Do you really need it? Perfectly if needs to !
I had a Dewalt plunge saw with the rail. These are come faster than the clamps. So I started to use ASAP. Noticed, you not really need the clamp unless you cut in big angle such as 45 degrees on the plunge saw. Working perfectly and the rail don’t move at all from the set position. Clamp down
I purchased these clamps as I had purchased the tracks system and had no choice really as these are the only ones that fit the track. I must say they are well made and very sturdy. They do seem like a lot of money for two clamps but that is what you get when you buy DeWALT goods. I have used them a few times now and I am very happy with them, I have perfectly straight pieces of wood for all my projects now.
