Best charger for any 25/27/ series Elitebook (HP) laptop out there (and a 8770W workstation too)
'I've got 3 of these and they will charge ANY laptop (elitebooks at least) from the 2710p up thru the 8770w Elitebooks. (i've got a 2710p, a 2730p, 2 2530p, 1 2540p i7, and two 2760p i7's along with the 8770w workstation). On the smaller systems that little 65 watt charger can take several hours to charge an extended battery. The big 230 to 300 watt series chargers can do it in 45 minutes or less. And they run faster and honestly run cooler as well. I travel with all my laptops and with the 25 series and 27 series I carry multiple batteries so I can watch movies or whatever during long flights (sadly they don't have the cigarette lighters in the armrests anymore as I have a 12v to 110v HP charger as well). I can normally recharge two extended batteries while waiting for a connecting flight in an hour. Can't do that with the 65 watt power supply. This was 20 bucks brand new in the plastic (sealed pouch). They make a smaller 200 watt power supply that works just as well on the smaller units too. They ARE heavy compared to the 65 watt chargers, but you trade weight for power, I guess. I swear by them. Only reason I bought this one was one of my 10 year old 200 watt chargers died on a trip (leaving me to use the spare 65 watt that's always in the suitcase). But that 200 watt charger was plugged in at home 24/7/365 for most of that ten years too...they last.
