Exactly as described. Charging/cleaning base even works, which is unusual for these older shavers.
Arrived with batteries charged at about 50%. Drained batteries to "empty," and will recharge to see if batteries can retain a 100% charge. Even if only a 50% charge is achieved, it was still a good bargain, on a fine shaver. Just wish Braun still offers this product. It has to be one of the best electric shavers ever sold. Now Braun has outsourced their 7000 series shavers to China. Have one of the Braun Chinese shavers. It's functional, but doesn't even come close to the original German version in quality. One good thing about the Chinese version, however, is the cleaning/charging base. Unlike the German version, the weak point has been corrected. Namely, the charging arm stays down in the charging/cleaning position, like it should. The German charging/cleaning base arm stops functioning after a couple years. Guess we'll know in a year or two, if the Chinese version continues to function properly. One thing is certain: The Chinese version lacks in heft, and the motor sounds kind of weak when compared to the original German version. Bang for the Buck

better than expected

Shaver review.
The shaver portion worked, but the trim head blade was broke, with the blade misaligned. This made it inoperable. Luckily I used my old one as a replacement. If refurbished all aspects should have been checked for proper operation.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
