Young's Yeast? Very Disappointing
This yeast does not look like, react or perform as well as previous Young's Yeast. I have used this yeast for many years to make home brew with no problems. This new tub of yeast is rubbish compared to previous Young'g Yeast. I have attempted twice to brew my usual 25 litres of home brew with it - it initially ferments aggressively, overflowing through the air lock, then goes dormant and fails to ferment out the sugar, leaving me with a brew that is not as strong as previous brews and sweet because it has failed to finish fermenting Has the manufacturing process changed, or is the product I bought not a genuine Young's product??Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
