These reels are probably the best for the money and ideal for sea beach casting . I teach old and young novice anglers alike and it's not long before they are catching fish! One lucky angler caught a 6.5lb Bass on his first cast and he's hooked for life Use sliding boom rigs with 4oz wired weight, 2/0 or 3/0 hook baited with lugworm or if that is difficult to get, nip down your supermarket and buy frozen squid cutting tentacles off and tipping main bait. Good value for the price
Good reel for a beginner. Smooth retrieval good that it comes with a spare spool. Just a slight problem with the line as the reel does not retrieve the line very evenly so the line tends to gather in the center of the spool and not at the front and the rear of the spool so so it is very uneven on rewind.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Having resumed sea fishing after many years of Freshwater fishing, I looked around for suitable equipment without breaking the bank.
