Great buy
I have a 15yr old Volvo XC90 which is very demanding on battery performance - the car can take two sizes batteries - standard and large (this is the large size). I felt the standard size battery got drained too quickly despite being new as the car isn't driven frequently - even if I charge up with trickle charger every fortnight. So I've replaced it with this large Exide battery - very happy! The battery holding steel bracket in my car has a fixture hole that is 5mm smaller than this Exide battery, so I just drilled another hole for the M8 holding bolt - no problem at all.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I gave thsi battery 3 stars because it worked as expected from the descrption, it turns a cold engine over better than the original jaguar fitted battery. This Exide battery not only is brilliant value for money but is an uprated improvement for my Jaguar S type R which has the 4.2 V8 Supercharged engine.At the warmest of times this engine will need adequate electrical power to function correctly.Prior to replacement,error codes would appear on the dash.Post installation all the features worked faultlessly. Having tried a battery from Advanced Batteries which only lasted 30 days and was measured at a lot less than the advertised CCA I decided to try the EA1000. Straight from the get go this measured A higher CCA then was printed on the specs of 958CCA which was great. Good battery that works perfectly
The only `cons' was lifting and positioning this big battery into my xj Jaguar. The rest was easy, and it worked perfectly, turning over the 2.7ltr diesel with ease. What else can I say, the price was very good, ordering was straightforward and the delivery free and on time. I would recommend this supplier.
