Works Well
We have a lot of padlocked outbuildings and this product works really well on reviving weather beaten padlocks when they become stiff and difficult to use - both combination locks and key locks. I had read that you shouldn't use WD40 on your locks, so I decided to give ABUS a try. Abus Padlock Lubricant, does the job.
A bit pricey, but this stuff is brilliant and fit for purpose. With it being compact in size it is superb for getting the oil just where it's needed, right inside the lock. It's also ideal for squeaky hinges. Comes with a fixed cap and straw attached. I've always got one to hand and carry a spare in the car. Lifesaver
The lock on the ignition of my motorcycle was completely seized with the key stuck in the lock. Tried all sorts of lubricants to free it up, including WD 40, without success. Spoke to my motorcycle dealer who recommended this product. After a few squirts and a couple of minutes fiddling with the key, I managed to remove it. A few more applications and the locking mechanism is smooth as silk. I now use it to lubricate all the locks in my house. I also have the added peace of mind that I'm not going to get stranded 150 miles from home with the key stuck in the steering lock of my motorcycle.
