A good budget scope
I've got a few of these to use target shooting . We only shoot at a distance of 12 metres. At 8x Mag they give a good bright view of our standard targets. Minimum focus is about 10 yards so we see the targets ok. Some of the scopes need a coin or strong thumbnail to adjust for distance and windage, some have a finger grip feature under the dust covers. How do they do this quality for the price?
I bought this for ratting around the farm and was specifically looking for a bright, sharp image in poor light and I'm glad to say this satisfies that requirement extremely well. The quality is excellent in every regard and it feels like a far more expensive scope than it is. Parallax adjustment needs no tool which speeds the process considerably. The only minor negatives are that, in very cold conditions, the focussing and zoom rings are slow to turn. I have also noticed that the transparent front cap and yellow rear cap are slightly rippled which degrades the image if you use the scope with them in place. The front element is recessed so unlikely to be damaged in use. The scope appears to have a 49mm filter thread at the front if further protection is wanted and would allow use of a light yellow filter.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellent scope for the money
I'm really pleased with this scope, out of the box it seems very well made and well finished. In use it's clear & bright and a delight to use. It will focus down to 10mtrs at max magnification, which is great for pest control and virtually guarantees a clean kill every time.
