Funny and engaging all through despite the sad ending.
I loved this film the actors were great, the only downside was that I had read the book first so knew the ending even so I still had to get the tissues out. I hope they bring out a sequel to it from the follow on book After You with the same actors of course.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Having just read the book which I loved I wanted to watch the film. It was really good, not as detailed as the book, it missed out quite a lot of important bits but still very enjoyable. Had bought my daughter the book as one of her birthday gifts and now she has leant it to me so I was curious to see the film too and as it was reasonably priced just had to buy it. As we are all in troubled times it was rather a sad film with no hope or truly happy ending so it did far from cheer me up! Brilliant storyline nonetheless.
