Great historical action viewing - recommended!
I have watched all the Vikings series on tv and enjoyed them. Great if you like historical action movies/programs which I do. The characters are well portrayed, and the events are based on actual history. But some were watched abroad when I was on holiday, including this one, Series 3. The picture quality there was SD - not High Definition, and the sound quality wasn't too good. I have bought blu-ray dvds of Series 1-4 on ebay (I've yet to get Series 5), and I'm working my way through them. I'm halfway through watching Series 3. I usually watch one episode daily. I am getting far more from the HD and I listen on headphones so I get more from the soundtrack too. I will be watching these again in the future. The item was described as 'like new' but it when it arrived the disc case was still in the cellophane wrapper so it is actually new and unused. Anyone who likes historical action movies like Troy, Robin Hood, Of Gods and Kings, Gladiator, and Kingdom of Heaven should watch the Vikings series,Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
