    This book is beautifully presented and easy to read. It presents some common sense ideas but with medical backing. I have found it has given me ideas and inspiration to lead a healthier and happier life style. The things that are suggested are all achievable with some effort. Nothing faddy or gimmicky. I would really recommend this if you want a more positive outlook on life and your health.

    If like me you've been on high doses of painkillers most of your life then you'll try anything & everything to get some relief, I'm not saying this book has all the answers as what works for one doesn't for another, some of what this book says I've already tried and it hasn't worked but others show more promise, mainly eating correctly losing that excess weight, easier said than done I know, stick with it, I'd say give it 3 months if there is no change, try something else, sometimes things get worse before improving. I'm still trying to find a way out of the PAINGRY events. Best thing about this book? For me, it doesn't "demand" nor "condemn" you. Mark Baldwin BE SAFE

  • Best Book I Have Read for Many Years - Super Quality As Well.

    I have read over half of the book and have to say its a lot better than I was expecting. I have huge respect for Dr Chatterjee and all he is doing. I seek out his blogs, videos etc and constantly recommend him and this book to my friends and relatives. Love re-watching the 'Doctor In The House' episodes on BBC iPlayer or YouTube. I recently bought a copy of the book for my 16 year old granddaughter and she is finding it so useful. Maybe it will help her to go to bed without her mobile phone? I would defiantly recommend the book to everyone who understands that the NHS is unsustainable as it is, and everyone MUST TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR OWN HEALTH. Rangan explains how to do this in a simple way.
