Just what I needed

Nice compact size but flawed design features and this one had not been quality checked.
I had the newer 3-in-1 coffee machine model from Aldi and really like it but there was a flaw as grounds ended up in the coffee so was returned to Aldi for refund as the machine was no longer available. I was pleased to spot this reasonably priced 3-in-1 coffee maker in the same brand but an older model, but unfortunately the short and long coffee buttons were the wrong way round! I could have accepted it, but on top of this, not all of the coffee is extracted from the pods which is wasteful and results in a weaker or smaller coffee. I tried both Nespresson as well as the Dolce Gusto. The milk came out flat, not frothy so instead of cuppacino, I had a flat white. Unfortunately had to return it and a shame as it is a nice compact model but you can only use short cups or else remove the drip tray.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Useless machine
If u want a tiny inch of coffee in your cup this is for you. If like me you want a proper cup of coffee then forget it- it just doesn’t work. Being able to take 2 different size pods or ground coffee is a great idea but this machine needs a rethink. Dolce Gusto pod got stuck and I had to leave it overnight to get it open. Missing part
I’ve had two of these machines , particularly liking the easy interchangeable parts for different coffee pods . Both previous machines had a third part which allowed you to put your own coffee in , which I often did. This machine was missing this part. Superbly Versatile Machine
As long as you're realistic re build quality for the price point, this is a great machine. Works well on Nespresso pods Works well on Dolce Gusto pods These with compatible pods give massive range and range of price. Works surprisingly well on ground with the right grind and tamp, certainly well enough for the space the brew head takes up. Ambiano fails to pump coffee after 6 cups.
