Brilliant Training Aid
This is a brilliant training aid which works as a distraction and/or deterrent for dogs and puppies. I've used this for years and our border terrier puppy is responding really well to it - barking, ignoring a whistle or call, or annoying my older collie, one quick blast and he comes running to see what I want! Good, but don’t get the small size!
To clarify my review - the product itself is fine, does what it should when used as directed.. However I bought the small size so I could carry it round with me in my pocket or bag when walking with the dogs and found that it barely lasted 10 days. No, I only used it sparingly in very short bursts when needed, so I estimate it probably cost me 89p per day to use this item. A good start
This item is expensive, the smallest can which is what you need for your pocket only lasts 3 days when using it with a stubborn dog. A bigger bottle would be better value. Although this product is brilliant, does exactly what it says unfortunately my dog got use to it and wasn't so bothered by it so it was less useful but it was a good starting point to bounce from. Doesn’t wirk
This has no affect at all on my dogs! The first time I sprayed it they looked at little surprised, and then carried on barking. Since then they do not react to it at all. Pet corrector spray
Useful tool in dog training. It has helped most of the time. This came highly recommended by a friend. Only had difficulties when our puppy was over excited & she wouldn’t listen & she ignored the device completely! A couple of things to point out, that you need to have it wherever you go because it never seemed to be to hand in the moment I needed it! Secondly, it’s a bit pricey I think at about £6 for a TINY tin (30ml) & we’re already on the second one in a week! I’m not sure it’s for us long term because of the above sadly.
