Havyweight but easy to work with
I worked some jobs with other also powerful and quality sanders which I don't want to mention,but what is the difference: first in weight-Makita is havilier,and so far I would say this should be the sign of quality and Makita have less number of vibrations but not less efficiency, which is better ( for your hands )for long term jobs. I hope it will last.

Best sander I have used
As a wood gate maker for many years I am impressed with this there's not a lot to say it's got good extraction seems well built and Sands well can't say anything about reliability yet or durability but makita tools I have are good and stand up to daily abuse in a workshop and parts are easily available for reasonable prices

Great Value
I have had at least six of these sanders over the years and are in use daily . Very robust and good value for money as always from Makita . The sand paper fixing clips do need replacing after a few years and are not cheap but I haven't found anything better to date.

Powerful sander
Powerful sander which does the job done a lot quicker that the lower class Makita sander I've used before. Sandpaper sheets are easily replaced.
