Reliable and smooth 'click over'
I have several projects on the go and need a row counter in each WIP bag. I don't keep my row counters on a lanyard cord and do find the lanyard loop on this brand makes the counter a little unwieldy to keep on the side table, also the locking toggle catches on yarn if I don't keep it in a separate bag. My solution is to run a very short cord through the loop then use a carabiner clip to attach the counter to my project bag handles - still a little unwieldy but a good solution for using this highly reliable row counter.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Very useful knitting addition
What a super little gadget this is. I put a cord on it to hang it round my neck and this makes it so easy to click when you finish the row of knitting and turn your needles round. I'm knitting a rather complicated pattern and have always written the rows down on paper, which is quite time consuming. I'm 77 yrs old and it is hard to change old habits. I now have this brilliant little counter, on a matching ribbon, hanging around my neck. As I change needles, at the end of a row, I just click on the counter and 'hey presto' - job done. Wish I'd had one of these years ago. I know it is a small plastic object but using it has given me such pleasure and I would recommend that everyone who knits has one of these.
