Great hybrid phono preamp
This worked well straight out of the box, apart from a slight channel mis-match with the original valves. It gave a pleasing sound with ample bass, smooth mids and delicate tops. Now change out the valves to a matched pair of GE 5654W's from that other store and you move up a level. My original 1973 copy of tubular bells yielded top end, mid and bass sounds I just do not ever recall hearing before. So if you buy one of these or the other branded names of the same device I do recommend a matched pair of GE 5654w's to go with it. You wont be disappointed.

Sounds better.
The T3 Pro is simple to install, operates without any problems and sounds so much better than the solid state pre-amp it replaced. It is also very easy to refine the sound output further by changing the valves to those that better suit the music, speakers and the listener's ears. In addition to the bargain price the nostalgia induced by having glowing valves warm my system once more is making me look seriously at more offers from Douk Audio..

Cheap way to improve your vinyl listening
It certainly improves the sound and cut down the background noise. Set up was easy and did not take up too much room. It also looks good and impressive next to the turntable. It is a cheap way to improve your vinyl listening experience.

Feels quality, sounds better than expected.
Very very good. Needs to run for an hour when first used, then works excellently. Looks better than the pictures, feels sturdy and solid. Sounds like a nice valve amp, but I would not call myself a audio geek.
